Host a Meet-up

Take some time to complete this form and we'll be in touch shortly.

If you are co-hosting your meet-up with another person, please list their name(s) and email.

Meet-ups are meant to provide spaces for people to make friends, and aren't a venue for advertisement or sales. Be open about your intent in the questions that follow. If it is to make money, or to network for the purpose of making money, meet-ups aren't the right place for your event.

Please keep in mind: 3+ weeks away is preferred for adequate promotion to the church.

If yes, one of the elders will need to review and approve a general outline of what you plan to teach before the meet-up itself is approved to go online. (Why is this approval necessary? Elders are responsible for overseeing what is taught in the church.)

When you have that outline ready, please email it to meetups@reachchurch.cc

To leave margin for proper promotion on our communication channels, we encourage you to host your meet-up 4+ weeks from today.

Let us know what the max size your meet-up can accommodate and we will add it to the event.

Below, write a short example invitation to your meet-up including the time and location, and who it's for. Focus on being welcoming and accurate in your description. Let people know exactly what to expect, but don't over-describe and sound overwhelming. This may be edited and used for the website/app.

We will plan on choosing a cover photo for your meet-up that represents your activity well, but if you want to customize your cover photo, you can send it to meetups@reachchurch.cc . Unsplash.com is a great place to find these.

You're nearly finished! This quick waiver helps protect you as a host and Reach Church. Once you submit, your meet-up will be reviewed.

I understand that Meet-ups communicated by Reach Church are organized independently by hosts and are not coordinated or supervised by Reach Church, its affiliates, staff, volunteers, or representatives (collectively, "Releasees"). As a host, I acknowledge that participation in Meet-ups is purely voluntary and may involve inherent risks.

I expressly assume all risks of injury or harm arising from hosting or participating in Meet-ups and release Releasees and other meet-up organizers from any liability, claims, or demands related to my voluntary participation. I understand this means that if I am injured, I and/or my family, heirs, or representatives cannot sue Releasees for damages.

I am solely responsible for my own safety and the reasonable safety of participants. I will follow meet-up guidelines and may discontinue any activity I deem unsafe. I acknowledge that I may require participants to discontinue participation if they act in an unsafe or disorderly manner.

I agree to indemnify Reach Church and those coordinating the Meet-ups program against any loss, damage, or claim arising from my hosting or participation. I understand this Waiver is intended to be as broad as permitted by Washington State law.

Agreement

By checking the box above and completing and submitting this form under my first/last name and email address, I confirm that I have read, understood, and freely agree to this Waiver and Release in full understanding of its legal effect.
