About 20s&30s in Issaquah/Sammamish (Leists)

This Group is launching on August 13th!

Who leads this Group?
Scott and Sally Leist are marginally successful empty-nest parents in their 50s-ish.  Both of their adult daughters are alive, employed and mostly self-sufficient.  Scott and Sally have been following Jesus for many years (AKA they are quite old).  They have a well-lit, open-concept kitchen in the Sammamish area that is -- sadly -- a bit lonely and empty now.  This means that their really great food and the accompanying stimulating conversation is missing the critical element of young local folks, like you, who want to get together every couple of weeks for a meal, unstructured discussions about the "life that is truly life" and connection.

Who is this Group for?
We live on the south end of the plateau so if you are in Bellevue, Issaquah, Sammamish or east, in your 20s or 30s, early career (post-college) and craving authenticity and connection, this group could be for you.  You need to eat anyway, right?

What can I expect?
Expect a very low key 2.5 hours.  No curriculum, no awkward icebreakers and no forced sharing.  Scott and Sally will provide the food, drinks and hospitality.  Family dinners are supposed to be times of nourishment (even if they were not for you growing up) with a purpose so that when you see these folks next week at church, there is some relationship.  We are not all going to be best friends, come every time or arrive ready to attack the world, that is OK.  But we all want to know others and be known, at least a little bit and that happens best at a meal.  Plus, given Scott and Sally's advanced ages, they hope a bit of your youthful vibe might rub off on them so they can truly slay, fam.
